I'm putting together a new gaming PC with an RX 9070 XT and plan to play at 1440p on high settings. I can choose between these tray CPUs at the following prices: Ryzen 5 9600X for $195, Ryzen 7 9700X for $260, or Ryzen 7 7800X3D for $325. All three fit my budget, but I'd prefer to save money if the performance difference isn't significant. I'm in Turkey, and these are the best deals I've found. I'm planning to use 32GB of Patriot Viper DDR5-6000 CL30 memory.

Your planned 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 kit is a good match for any of these processors. The 9700X offers a useful middle ground with eight cores and better general-purpose performance than the 9600X, but for gaming alone it may not justify the extra $65. Unless you play especially CPU-intensive games or care about maximizing minimum FPS, I’d choose the 9600X and put the savings toward other parts. Choose the 7800X3D if gaming performance matters more than value.
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the strongest gaming-focused option, especially in CPU-heavy games, strategy titles, or games that load lots of objects. Its extra 3D cache can improve frame-time consistency and reduce 1% lows or stuttering. That said, the 9600X and 9700X are still capable choices, and the difference in average FPS may be small at 1440p with an RX 9070 XT. The 9600X is probably the best value if you want to keep the extra $130, while the 7800X3D makes more sense if you want the best gaming performance and plan to keep the system for several years.
The 7800X3D’s advantage will be most noticeable in CPU-limited games such as competitive shooters, simulations, and large strategy or building games. At high-quality 1440p settings, the GPU will often be the limiting factor, so the cheaper CPUs shouldn’t be dismissed.
