I have a roughly two-and-a-half-month-old PNY RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Dual Fan. During OCCT, the GPU hotspot reaches 105–107°C. In demanding games such as ARK: Survival Ascended, the hotspot-to-core temperature difference is about 29°C, while ARK: Survival Evolved shows around 24°C. In lighter games, the difference is closer to 12°C.
The core temperature under full load stays around 80°C at approximately 1,500 RPM, although a one-hour FurMark test reached about 80–83°C with the fans near 3,000 RPM. I have also experienced three complete video-signal losses where the fans suddenly ramped to roughly 3,500 RPM. Reseating the PCIe power cable seemed to fix it temporarily, but the problem returned about a month and a half later.
Is the hotspot temperature or temperature delta abnormal, and should I troubleshoot further or request a warranty replacement?

Your FurMark result of roughly 80–83°C is not automatically dangerous, but the high hotspot and sudden loss of video are more concerning than the core temperature alone. Do not open the cooler or keep experimenting with modifications while the card is under warranty. If clean drivers, another cable, and a confirmed power connection do not solve it, request an RMA rather than trying to hide the symptoms with undervolting.
Before sending it back, try a different display cable and another output on the graphics card, then perform a clean driver reinstall using DDU in Safe Mode. Also check that the power connector is fully seated at both ends. Monitor core, hotspot, and memory temperatures with HWiNFO while gaming rather than relying only on the core reading.
A 105–107°C hotspot is very high, especially when the core is around 80°C. The roughly 24–29°C difference in demanding games can indicate that the cooler is not making ideal contact with the GPU die. Since the card is still fairly new and you are also getting signal loss with the fans suddenly reaching maximum speed, a warranty claim is the safest option if the issue happens again.

The signal loss has happened three times. Reseating the PCIe power cable stopped it for about a month and a half, but it happened again recently. If it returns, I’ll send the card in for warranty service.
