I've been noticing multiple unsuccessful login attempts on my Microsoft account every day since April 11th, and I just received a notification about it. While I have 2FA enabled, it's unsettling to see this happening so frequently. Is there anything else I can do to secure my account? Is this kind of activity normal?

One option you might consider is creating an email alias and disabling login for your main email address that's receiving the login attempts. That's something I did, and it worked out well for me!
Changing your password is definitely a good step. I suggest using a long, complex password—like 32 characters if your account allows it. I keep track of all my passwords using a password manager and only remember my master password. That way, I don't have to stress about every single account's login!
This kind of situation isn’t entirely unusual, especially if your email address is common. Sometimes hackers try to brute-force login with details leaked from various data breaches. You might want to check if your information has been compromised on sites like haveibeenpwned.com. And yes, changing your password should be a top priority. If you’re getting 2FA notifications, it means someone is trying after the password stage, so that’s a good sign your security is working!
No, it says they unsuccessfully tried to guess my password. It’s just weird this is the first notification I’ve gotten if it’s been happening for a month!
Okay shall do, thank you!!!
