I just installed House Flipper through Steam on Linux Mint, but clicking Play doesn't load the game at all. The installation is fresh, and I haven't tested any other games yet. Are there any troubleshooting steps I should try, such as checking compatibility settings or launch errors?

Since this is a fresh installation, first check whether other Steam games launch normally. If they do, the issue may be specific to House Flipper’s Linux compatibility layer. Try forcing a current Proton version in the game’s Steam compatibility settings, verify the game files, and look for any error message or launch log. Your Linux Mint version, graphics hardware, driver version, and whether Steam is using Proton would also help narrow it down.
