I have both an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB and an RTX 5080 installed. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora keeps launching on the 5060 Ti, even though my main monitor is connected to the 5080. I already selected the 5080 in NVIDIA Control Panel and Windows graphics settings, disabled hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling, and reinstalled the drivers. The Steam launch argument -GraphicsAdapter=0 worked for the Steam version, but I'm running the game through Ubisoft Connect and it had no effect there. The only reliable workaround so far is disabling the 5060 Ti in Windows, but I'd rather not do that every time. Is there another way to force the game to use the 5080?

The simplest workaround may be to run the game with only the 5080 enabled. With two GPUs installed, some games and launchers choose the wrong adapter and don’t consistently honor the Windows or NVIDIA preference settings. Since disabling the 5060 Ti works, the game is probably selecting it during initialization.
First check which GPU is connected to the display being used for the game. Some games render on the adapter driving the active monitor, so NVIDIA Control Panel and Windows’ preferred-GPU setting may not override the game’s choice. Move the monitor cable to the 5080 if it isn’t already there.
Having two GPUs can create adapter-selection issues even when the motherboard and display connections are configured correctly. The 5060 Ti and 5080 won’t combine their memory for this game, so using only the 5080 is generally the least troublesome setup unless you specifically need the second card for other displays or workloads.
I bought the 5060 Ti at retail price and later found a heavily discounted 5080, so I kept both installed. My motherboard supports two cards, but I may have to disable the 5060 Ti for this particular game.
The main monitor is already connected to the 5080. My second and third monitors are connected to the 5060 Ti.
