My mouse freezes for about one second whenever I right-click an application on the taskbar, and sometimes when I close a game. The issue started unexpectedly, and restarting my computer hasn't fixed it. Has anyone found a solution?

Try restarting Windows Explorer through Task Manager. The taskbar should disappear briefly and then reload, which can sometimes clear temporary taskbar-related glitches.
I tried restarting Windows Explorer, but unfortunately it didn’t change anything.
