I can already emulate GameCube, PS2, and some PS3 games, including Spider-Man: Edge of Time. With a Ryzen 7 5800X, Radeon RX 6600 8GB, and 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory, what other systems can I reasonably expect to emulate? I'm especially curious about Nintendo Switch and whether PS4 emulation is realistic. For Switch, should I expect playable performance or frequent issues?

A lower-power Ryzen 5 5625U system has managed roughly 35–55 FPS in some Switch games, although results were inconsistent between titles. Your 5800X and RX 6600 should generally have more headroom, so 35–45 FPS or better is possible in many cases. Don’t treat that as a guarantee, though—emulation is often limited by the emulator and the specific game, and AMD GPU support can vary between projects.
Nintendo Switch is a reasonable target to try with that hardware. Many games should be playable, but performance varies a lot by emulator, game, graphics settings, and shader compilation. Some titles may run smoothly while others can have stutters or compatibility problems. PS4 is a very different situation: current emulation support is limited, so your hardware alone does not make most PS4 games realistically playable.
You can experiment with modern console emulators such as Xenia for Xbox 360 and established Switch emulators, but compatibility is the key limitation. Your system is strong for GameCube, PS2, and much of the older generation, while PS3 and Xbox 360 remain highly game-dependent. Try per-game compatibility reports and use reasonable resolution settings instead of assuming every title will run equally well.

That makes sense. I was mainly wondering whether Switch would be consistently playable rather than just technically launchable.
