I recently built a new PC, and the first time I powered it on, it successfully displayed the BIOS on my monitor. Since then, the BIOS no longer appears. I've reseated the graphics card and RAM and reset the BIOS, but the monitor only briefly reacts when the PC starts before going black. Remove the dedicated graphics card and connect the monitor to the motherboard’s video output so the integrated graphics can start the system. If the BIOS appears that way, the problem is likely related to the RTX 5090, its power connection, the display cable or port, the PCIe slot, or BIOS compatibility. That result does not automatically mean the card needs to be replaced—test the card in another system if possible and double-check that all of its power connectors are fully seated.
