I'm planning to replace my RTX 3060 Ti with a Radeon RX 9070 XT and want to confirm the fit before buying. My case is a Svive Halo S650 Midi Tower, which is rated for graphics cards up to 360 mm long. My current ASUS RTX 3060 Ti Dual OC V2 measures 269 mm long, while the 9070 XT model I'm considering is 312 mm long.
The extra length itself seems fine, but there is a cable-routing protrusion extending about 22 mm from the motherboard tray near the front of the case. Based on my rough measurements, there may only be a 2.95–3 mm gap between the card and this protrusion. The 3060 Ti is 52 mm wide and 136 mm high, while the 9070 XT is 50 mm wide and 130 mm high. I'm unsure whether the card's width affects clearance on the motherboard-facing side or only the distance to the side panel, and whether height is the more relevant measurement here.
I also want to check the power connections. My current card uses one 8-pin PCIe connector, while the 9070 XT requires three 8-pin connectors. My ASUS TUF Gaming 750B power supply lists four detachable 8-pin PCIe connectors with detachable 2-pin sections. Will that provide everything the new card needs?

Your power supply appears to have four PCIe 8-pin connectors, so it should be able to connect to a card requiring three 8-pins. The detachable 2-pin sections simply let each connector work as either a 6-pin or 8-pin plug. Use separate PSU cables where possible rather than relying on one cable’s daisy-chained connectors, and verify the exact power requirement of the specific 9070 XT model. A 750W unit may be sufficient, but its age, condition, and the card manufacturer’s recommended wattage are also worth checking.
The case specification is the main thing to check for physical compatibility. It supports graphics cards up to 360 mm long, so a 312 mm card is within the stated limit. GPU width and thickness mostly determine clearance from the side panel and nearby expansion slots; the motherboard-facing edge is generally positioned consistently by the PCIe slot and case mounting system. Still, check the exact 9070 XT model’s thickness and make sure there are no front-mounted drives or unusual brackets interfering with the card.
The length itself wasn’t what worried me; I was mainly concerned about the protrusion extending from the motherboard tray. If the PCIe slot and mounting bracket position the cards at the same distance from the motherboard, then the protrusion should have the same clearance regardless of the card’s length, right?
