Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my RAM and hoping you can help me out. I'm trying to decide between two options: should I go for 3600 MHz RAM with timings of 16-20-20-38, or 4000 MHz RAM with timings of 20-26-26-46? What setup do you think would give me better gaming performance? Thanks! 🙂

It really depends on your CPU and motherboard, but for gaming, generally, the first timing number is the most critical. In your case, I'd lean towards the 3600 MHz RAM since it's seen as the sweet spot for DDR4. Higher speeds can be beneficial, but timings can hurt performance if they're too loose.

That makes sense! I'm just starting out, so keeping it simple sounds good!
