Why did my Ethernet connection stop working after resetting my router?

I recently had an issue where my WiFi network disappeared completely. To resolve it, I pressed the reset button on my router, and now the WiFi is working again. However, I'm facing a new problem: my Ethernet connection on my Apple TV just says there's no network available when I try to use YouTube. Additionally, when I connect my laptop via Ethernet, I get an error message stating that my connection isn't private and that attackers might be trying to steal my information (error: Net:Err_Cert_Authority_invalid). I've already tried unplugging and replugging both the router and the modem. For reference, I'm using a Netgear AC1750 router and an Arris Surfboard SB6121 modem.

Have you tried restarting your Apple TV? Sometimes a simple restart can help re-establish the connection.

I completely turned it off and on, even unplugged it. It still says there’s no network connection.

Try this: connect your laptop to the WiFi. Open a browser and type in 192.168.1.1 in the address bar. Use 'admin' as the username, and look for the setup password on your router card – this might help you address the issue.

Thanks so much! This fixed it!

Did you manage to log in to your router settings? It might help to check the configurations.

I don’t know how to do that or what it means. I didn’t change any settings; it didn’t even ask for my network password.
