I've been working as a system administrator at a midsize IT company for about 2 years and 8 months. I'm also pursuing a degree in computer engineering in New Mexico. I handle a wide range of responsibilities and technologies, but I'm not sure my résumé presents my experience effectively. I'd like to move into a stronger role and would appreciate advice on improving the format, technical skills section, and overall content.

I’d remove the buzzword-heavy section under Technical Skills. Use specific technologies, platforms, and tasks instead, grouped into sensible categories. A clean, readable layout is more important than adding decorative elements, logos, or every technology you’ve ever touched.
Don’t rely on one generic résumé for every application. Adjust it for each job posting by moving the most relevant experience and skills toward the top, then emphasizing the tools and responsibilities the employer actually mentions. That makes it much easier for a hiring manager to see the match.
Your résumé seems to cover a lot of different technologies, which can make it feel crowded and make your strongest skills harder to find. Trim the less-important items and give the document more focus. Also, describe the value of your work—not just the tools you used. Explain how you improved reliability, saved time, reduced incidents, supported employees, or helped a business team operate more smoothly. Keep the wording clear and avoid forcing in corporate buzzwords.

That makes sense. I’ll focus on the technologies I use most and connect them to concrete results instead of listing everything.
