I'm using a Ryzen 5 3600X with an RTX 3060 Ti and playing at 1440p. On high settings, I'm getting around 180 FPS in Valorant and roughly 70–80 FPS in Rainbow Six Siege. Some benchmark sites suggest these numbers should be higher, but I haven't noticed any obvious performance problems. Are these results normal for this hardware, or is there something I should check?

For competitive games, lowering visual settings can improve frame rates because performance is often limited by the CPU rather than the graphics card. If you specifically want much higher FPS while keeping high settings, a newer CPU—and potentially a stronger GPU—would be the upgrade path.
Rainbow Six Siege at 70–80 FPS on high settings and 1440p sounds reasonable for this combination. Valorant benchmark results are often measured at 1080p, where the GPU has less work to do, so they can look much higher than what you’ll see at 1440p.
Those results are generally normal. Both games can be heavily CPU-limited, especially at high frame rates, and the Ryzen 5 3600X isn’t a particularly powerful gaming CPU by current standards.
