Is my hard drive on the brink of failure?

I have an internal WD PC SN810 hard drive in my HP Envy running Windows 11. I'm getting a warning that its reliability is degraded, even though it shows a 100% estimated life and 100% available spare. Properties indicate it's working properly, but I'm worried if this warning is a common false alarm or if my drive is genuinely in trouble.

I agree with DiskDoctor88. The drives can sometimes throw warnings that don't necessarily indicate imminent failure. Just to be safe, make sure you have a proper backup of your data. I recommend testing it with tutorials from the software I mentioned earlier. It'll help put your mind at ease!

It sounds like you're dealing with a potential false alarm. Sometimes these warnings can be misleading. It's great to hear that your health stats are showing 100%. You might want to run some diagnostic software to double-check, like HDDTune Pro or CrystalDiskInfo. They can provide a clearer picture of your drive's condition.
