I've been struggling for days with an issue where my AI doesn't seem to save any memories. When I ask it to remember something, it says it does, but when I check, the memory is completely empty. I've found that it only seems to work with very short phrases (like under 300 words), but this is really frustrating for me as a roleplayer and worldbuilder who relies on ChatGPT to create stories in my free time. I'm not alone in this; I've seen multiple threads where others are experiencing the same problem. Is there any solution for this?

Unfortunately, there's not a lot we can do right now. I have the same issue, and it seems like we just have to wait for OpenAI to sort it out. By the way, how did you manage to save anything with 300 words? My limit is only 64 words!
One workaround I've found is to write down what you want the AI to remember in a Word document. You could even copy your entire chat into a Word doc and then upload it at the start of the next chat. This way, you can ensure it remembers what you need!
Does that method still work if the conversation gets longer?
