Should I Replace My PSU Before Upgrading My Build?

I've been using the NOX URANO VX 750 power supply for about 10 years, and I haven't experienced any issues. However, since I'm planning to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 5900X and an RTX 4060, I'm wondering if it's time to replace this aging PSU. I'm concerned that the increased workload might cause it to fail and potentially damage other components. Should I go ahead and replace it? If anyone has recommendations for good PSUs, I'd love to hear them!

Yeah, I'd definitely replace it! Look for a Tier A or B PSU from a reliable list. It’s better to be safe, especially with an upgrade like that.

Absolutely replace it. An upgrade demands more power, and it's just a good practice to change out a PSU every few years to avoid issues.

Your new system will require about 200-250W. Do you already have the Ryzen 5900X?
