I recently upgraded from an RTX 4060 to an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB while keeping my Ryzen 5 5600X. Is this a sensible combination, or should I be worried about a CPU bottleneck or other compatibility issues?

The upgrade is safe and won’t damage anything. A CPU bottleneck is possible in certain games, particularly competitive titles running at very high frame rates, but it isn’t a serious problem. Just make sure your power supply and case airflow are adequate for the new graphics card.
That combination is perfectly fine. The 5600X can still handle the 5060 Ti well, especially at 1440p or higher settings. In some CPU-heavy games at 1080p, you may run into a processor bottleneck, but that just means the GPU won’t be fully utilized in those specific situations. There’s no compatibility concern.
