What’s a Good Budget Upgrade from a 6700xt for Gaming?

Hey everyone! My 6700xt has been having a tough time lately with Unreal Engine 5 games, especially Clair Obscur and Stalker 2 at 1440p. I'm looking for a budget-friendly upgrade but I'm torn between getting a 5060ti with 16GB or waiting to see what the new 9060xt offers. I'm also wondering if the 7800xt is still worth considering, even though I've got a 5600x CPU, which might not justify a high-end card.

Honestly, I'd recommend waiting to see what the 9060xt brings to the table. The upscaling tech in the 9070 is impressive, and I'm assuming the same will apply here. The 7800xt is solid, but don't rush into anything right now since prices aren't that great.

Yeah, you'd think the 7800xt would have dropped in price by now. Also, the lack of FSR4 support is a bit of a letdown.

If you're looking to upgrade without breaking the bank, consider holding out for what's available next month, especially with the 9060xt and the potential B770 in the mix. I'd be hesitant about the 7800xt unless you find it at a competitive price since it lacks FSR4 and isn't great for ray tracing, which is becoming more critical for new games.

Right! The B770 news is quite exciting. It's such a shame about the 7800xt; it performs well but the missing features could be a dealbreaker.
