I'm having trouble with my Sharp BP-70C31 printer when trying to scan documents to my Google email. It used to work just fine, but now I'm getting an error message: **ERROR[3332]: Connection to SMTP server test failed**. The error suggests that authentication has failed, but I know my username and password are correct. I've even tried different email addresses. I'm using a G Suite account with the SMTP server set to smtp.gmail.com. Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

It sounds like Google has made some backend changes that might be affecting your printer. We had a similar issue with our Sage ERP setup. You might want to check out this guide on how to update your settings: [Google Support](https://support.google.com/a/answer/176600?hl=en). Also, don't forget to update your SPF record for your public IP, as it defaults to just Google, which might not work for your setup.
Just a heads up, since May 1st, Google is requiring either OAuth or Google App passwords for SMTP access. That could be the issue you're hitting. So, be sure to check if you need to set that up.
