My Windows 11 laptop connects to Wi‑Fi and shows a strong signal, but Windows reports "No internet" and I can't browse. The problem happens on multiple networks, including at my parents' house, while their devices and my phone work normally. I've already forgotten and rejoined the networks, installed updates, and restarted the laptop several times. I don't use a VPN, and this is my personal laptop. What should I try next?

If the internet connection genuinely doesn’t work—not just a misleading Windows status—verify that no proxy or VPN configuration is active. Since other devices work and the issue follows the laptop between networks, router settings and Wi‑Fi passwords are unlikely to be the cause.
You can also reset the Windows networking components from an administrator Command Prompt with `netsh winsock reset` and `netsh int ip reset`, followed by `ipconfig /flushdns` and a restart. If the connection still fails, reinstall or update the Wi‑Fi adapter driver, then try Windows Network reset.
Check whether DNS is the problem by running `nslookup www.google.com` in Command Prompt. If it reports a DNS timeout or failure, remove any manually configured DNS servers unless you know they’re required, or switch back to automatic DNS settings.
