I accidentally splashed a little water on my iPhone while I was in the shower, and afterwards, it warned me about fluid in the phone. I ignored the warning and managed to charge it to about 10%. After I unplugged it and tried to charge it again later, it stopped working. I let it rest for about five hours, but no luck. It's been two days now. I cleaned the charging port and found some dust, but even after cleaning it, my phone only charges at certain angles. Now it's not charging at all. Did I damage something by ignoring the warning, or could it be something else?

I've had a similar issue with my iPhone 11. I ended up using some compressed air to blow out the charging port and let it dry for a few hours. It worked again afterwards! Maybe give that a try?
You probably should've listened to the warning about the fluid! If water got into the port and sat there, it may have corroded the connectors. That could be why it's acting up now. Just be careful next time!
Do you think using a hairdryer could help?
