Use a properly sized UPS rather than relying only on a basic surge-protector strip. It can keep the computer running briefly while you restore power and give you time to shut it down cleanly. Check the UPS wattage rating against your PC’s actual power usage and power supply.
The UPS helps protect the computer, but it doesn’t solve why the breaker is tripping. If air conditioning or other high-draw appliances are sharing the circuit, reduce the load or move devices to a suitable circuit. Have a qualified electrician inspect the breaker and wiring, especially if the breaker may be faulty. Don’t replace it yourself unless you’re trained to work on residential electrical systems.
