Hey everyone! I'm a B.S. grad looking to dive into product management, and I want to bolster my understanding of computer science and development. I thought about starting the Harvard CS50 course because it offers a structured way to learn rather than focusing on just one programming language. I'd love to hear your thoughts if you've taken it or know about the course. Is it a good foundation? One thing I appreciate is that there are assignments that you need to submit on GitHub for grading before you earn a certificate. On top of that, I've got a side project I want to develop, which is another reason I'm keen on learning computer science. What do you think?

Yeah, CS50 is great, but there are specialized versions that dive into areas like AI or business. If you’re mainly focused on foundational comp sci concepts, I’d say CS50 is perfect. Just think about what you want to achieve with your side project, as that might guide you to other relevant resources as well!
CS50 is solid for beginners! Just keep in mind many use it to see if comp sci is for them. It introduces some important principles, but you'll want to explore other resources to really deepen your knowledge. Building projects on your own afterward is key to rounding things out!
