My PC has an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card. I recently bought a second Sansui monitor for work and personal use. The monitor powers on, but it reports no input and eventually enters sleep mode.
I've already tried resetting the graphics driver with Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B, switching between Duplicate and Extend with Windows + P, using Display Settings to detect another display, updating monitor drivers in Device Manager, installing all available Windows updates, and restarting the computer several times.
The computer seems to have only one obvious HDMI port besides the one already connected to my current monitor. That port is labeled "Display," so I assumed it was meant for a monitor. I haven't yet tried another HDMI cable or bought a monitor dock. Could the problem be that I'm connecting the second monitor to the wrong port, or is there another setting or hardware issue I should check?

A monitor dock probably isn’t the first thing to buy here. First identify the graphics card’s ports and connect the display there. If the monitor only accepts HDMI and the RTX 2060 has no free HDMI port, use an appropriate DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter or cable. Also select the matching HDMI or DisplayPort input on the monitor after connecting it.
Make sure both monitors are connected to the ports on the RTX 2060 itself, not to the motherboard’s video outputs. The Ryzen 5 3600X does not have integrated graphics, so the motherboard HDMI port generally cannot produce a display signal. An RTX 2060 usually has several outputs, such as HDMI and DisplayPort, so you may need to connect the second monitor using one of its DisplayPort outputs, possibly with a DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter or cable.
I found the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 listed in my system, but I wasn’t sure which physical ports belonged to it. I’ll check the lower expansion-card area on the back of the PC rather than relying on the motherboard HDMI port.
