A backed-up in-wall mini-split AC unit leaked roughly a liter of water into my PC case while I was away. The motherboard has heavy corrosion around the CPU side and the SSD is dead, but my two 16 GB RAM sticks were on the opposite side and look completely clean. I'm replacing the rest of the system with parts covered by insurance, but I'd really like to reuse this RAM since it was much cheaper when I bought it. If the modules appear dry and undamaged, could testing them in the new build harm the motherboard, CPU, or other components?

The main risk is small but not literally zero—shorts or conductive contamination could cause trouble, and a new board may be expensive to replace. If the RAM has visible corrosion, staining, or residue, I wouldn’t install it in the new build without professional testing. If it looks pristine and passes inspection, the risk is generally low.
Water itself isn’t usually the issue once everything is dry—the bigger concerns are leftover minerals, corrosion, or powering the system while moisture is still present. Since the motherboard was badly affected, I’d be cautious and test the modules at a repair shop or in a known-good test system if possible.
Memory modules are fairly durable, especially if they were on the dry side of the case. Don’t rely on rice; use time and airflow, clean any questionable residue with isopropyl alcohol, and test one stick at a time with default BIOS settings. Run a memory test afterward if the system boots.
If the sticks are completely dry and there’s no residue or corrosion, they’ll generally either work or fail to initialize; RAM usually doesn’t damage the rest of a computer when it fails. Clean the contacts gently with high-concentration isopropyl alcohol, let them dry fully, and inspect both sides before testing.
