Hey everyone, I have an HP Victus that's about three years old, and I've hit a snag. For some reason, I can't insert my laptop charger's pin into the charging port anymore. I checked and used a different HP charger from another laptop, and it wouldn't go in either, so I think the issue is with the port itself. I've been searching for solutions, but all I can find is advice to replace the port or the charger. Does anyone have any tips, tricks, or DIY fixes that I can try?

First thing to do is shine a bright light into the port and check for any debris. Sometimes it's just something stuck in there, like a bit of paper or lint. Especially if someone in the household likes to make jokes!
I wish it was just that! I tried using a SIM tray tool to loosen some debris, but it didn’t help at all. This is so frustrating!
