Is the RAM in my gaming laptop upgradeable, and will it help with performance issues?

Hey everyone! I bought an HP Victus gaming laptop about a year ago and it has the following specs: 15.6" Full HD 144Hz display, AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050, 8GB DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB SSD, running on Windows 11 Home. I've been playing a memory-intensive game, and I'm noticing that it's using almost all of my RAM (around 7GB), which makes the laptop run really slow during gameplay. I wanted to know if the RAM is upgradeable and if adding more would solve my performance issues, especially since the game isn't too graphics-heavy. Thanks!

Yes, the RAM in your HP Victus is upgradeable! I recommend adding another 8GB DDR5 stick that matches the speed of your current RAM. This way, you'll run your RAM in dual-channel mode, which can really boost performance. It should definitely help with your gaming issues!

Could you help me find a compatible RAM stick? I'm not very familiar with PC internals!
