Laptop Suddenly Went Black and Won’t Turn Back On

I'm using my brother's old Zed laptop, which is around nine years old. The screen suddenly went black while I was trying to make a call using imo. I assumed the battery had died, so I plugged it in and left it charging, but it still won't turn on. Pressing the power button repeatedly hasn't helped. What else can I try to get it working again?

Try disconnecting the charger, then hold the power button down continuously for about 30 seconds. After that, connect the charger again and let the laptop charge for several hours before trying to start it. This can sometimes clear a frozen power state.

I tried that, but it still isn’t turning on.

The battery may be deeply discharged, or the laptop could be stuck in a low-power state. Leave it connected to the correct charger for at least 30 minutes without pressing anything, then hold the power button for 40–60 seconds. Watch for any charging light, fan noise, keyboard light, logo, or other sign of life. If there are still no indicators after that, the battery, charger, power jack, or motherboard may need to be checked.

I tried this as well, but there are still no signs of it powering on.
