I opened a support case 11 days ago about a problem with AWS Control Tower, but it is still unassigned. Previous cases were usually answered within three or four days. Now every page in the Control Tower console fails with this error: `1 validation error detected: Value '' at 'nextToken' failed to satisfy constraint: Member must have length less than or equal to 1000`. Since the token is generated by the console itself, this looks like an AWS-side pagination bug rather than a configuration problem. Does Basic Support cover issues like this, or is a paid support plan required? I would prefer not to subscribe to paid support just to report what appears to be a service-side defect.

Unfortunately, Basic Support is mostly a minimal support tier. Technical questions either are not covered or receive very limited prioritization, while paid plans provide access to the technical support queue. If this is blocking production work, the practical options are upgrading temporarily, checking the service health information and documentation, or looking for a current known issue and workaround.
Basic Support generally covers account and billing questions, not troubleshooting technical services such as Control Tower. A console-generated pagination token causing a validation failure would normally require a technical support case, so the lack of a response may be because the case is outside the coverage of your plan rather than because AWS has suddenly changed its policy.
Support quality and response times can vary a lot, even on paid tiers. Still, this error sounds more like a Control Tower console defect than a problem with your setup. It may be worth documenting the exact time, affected pages, account or region details, and the failing request behavior so the issue can be reproduced once it reaches an engineer.
