I accidentally encrypted my photos and videos while backing up my iPhone 13 to my computer using iTunes. Now I can't access them at all, and I'm not sure how to unencrypt these files. I've tried everything I can think of, and I really miss those pictures and videos! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

You might want to check if there's an option in iTunes to manage encrypted backups. If you click on 'Preferences' and then 'Devices', it might show you your backups and let you manage them from there. Just be careful not to delete anything unintentionally!
First off, no worries! It sounds like you might just need to input the password you set during the encryption process. When you backed up your iPhone, iTunes should have prompted you for a password. If you remember that, try entering it when you connect your iPhone to your computer. If you can't remember, unfortunately, there might not be a way to recover them unless you have a backup without encryption.
I agree! Also, just make sure you’re looking in the right folder where your backups are stored. Sometimes they can be tricky to find!
Thanks for the tip! I'll look into that and let you know if it works!
