At 1440p, I usually have to reduce demanding GPU and VRAM settings to medium or low to stay around 55–60 FPS, while 4K causes severe drops and unstable performance. I'm especially concerned about poor 1% lows and stuttering from running a single 16GB stick. Would adding a matching module for 32GB dual-channel memory noticeably improve frame-time consistency, or is the RX 9060 XT and the game's optimization the main reason I can't maintain stable 1440p or 4K performance?

Adding a second matching DDR5 module is still worthwhile, especially because 16GB can be limiting in a demanding modern game. It may improve stutters and 1% lows in CPU-limited situations, but it won’t transform this system into a stable 4K setup. Your graphics card is the more important limitation at 4K.
You don’t have to choose only between 1440p and 4K. Try custom resolutions such as 2880×1620, 3072×1728, or 3200×1800 with different upscaling settings. These can look sharper than 1440p while requiring less rendering power than 4K. For a consistent experience, prioritize stable frame times over forcing a higher resolution.
Monster Hunter Wilds has performance problems even on much faster systems. Players with high-end CPUs, 32GB of RAM, and powerful graphics cards can still see unstable frame rates at 1440p. A second RAM stick might help somewhat, but the improvement will usually be modest when the GPU is already fully loaded. Also, online bottleneck calculators are not reliable enough to diagnose a specific game or resolution.
