I'm trying to get The Witcher 3 looking as good as possible while keeping gameplay smooth on an RTX 5060 Ti with 8GB of VRAM. I assume ray tracing may be too demanding, so what graphics settings, upscaling options, or performance tweaks would you recommend?

The NVIDIA App’s automatic optimization is a good starting point. It should work with games installed through GOG as well as other launchers. Apply the recommended settings, then adjust individual options if performance or image quality still needs fine-tuning.
The optimization settings made the game run noticeably smoother. If you see mild screen tearing, try enabling V-Sync or using G-SYNC/FreeSync if your monitor supports it, and consider limiting the frame rate slightly below the monitor’s refresh rate.
