I recently purchased a prebuilt PC, and I'm struggling to maintain over 60 fps in games like Arma Reforged and The Finals, even with all settings turned down. Here's the PC specs:

- AMD Ryzen 5 5600 (3.5GHz, up to 4.4GHz Turbo Boost)
- 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD (this is significantly faster than traditional HDDs)
- High-Performance Air Cooler
- NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4060 (8GB GDDR6X)
- 16GB DDR4 RAM (3200)
- Windows 11 Home (64-bit)
- Connectivity with 802.11 AC, various USB ports, HDMI, and Display Port.

What upgrades would you recommend to enhance my gaming experience?

I suggest upgrading both your CPU and GPU! Consider going for the Ryzen 7 5700X and the RTX 4070. These should give you a noticeable boost in performance for those demanding games.

Don't listen to this advice. Upgrading from a 4060 to a 4070 or from a 5600 to a 5700X isn't a huge leap, so it might not be worth the investment.

Make sure your HDMI or DisplayPort cable is indeed plugged into your GPU, not the motherboard. This can sometimes happen and can significantly affect performance.

Before thinking about upgrades, make sure your monitor is connected to the RTX 4060 and not the motherboard's output. That could be a big reason why you're not hitting those fps targets. Also, check your CPU and GPU temperatures during gameplay—thermal throttling might be messing with your performance. You could try running a free demo like 3DMark to get an idea of your temps and performance.
