Why won’t my PC boot into Windows anymore?

Hey everyone, I'm having a pretty frustrating issue with my PC. It's been having trouble booting into Windows lately, and I'm hoping someone here can help me troubleshoot this. Whenever I try to start it up, I get an error message saying "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press any key." It used to be that I could just reboot and it would work fine, but over time, it has worsened—I now have to reboot multiple times before it actually loads Windows. As of now, my SSD doesn't even show up in the boot list in BIOS. I did manage to get into Windows a couple of times by unplugging and reattaching the power and data connections, and even switching the data cable with another SSD, but it hasn't solved the problem. I'm really at a loss here and would prefer not to have to buy a new SSD or a fresh copy of Windows. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your SSD might be failing. If you manage to boot it up one more time, I'd suggest backing up any important files immediately. Also, check the SSD's health using a program like CrystalDiskInfo to see if it's really on its last legs.

I had a similar experience once and discovered the SSD was indeed dying. If the tool shows the drive is healthy, you might want to check your BIOS settings or even try a different SATA port on your motherboard. Sometimes it’s not just the drive itself.
