What offline coding resources work well for kids on a Raspberry Pi?

I'm setting up a Raspberry Pi 5 as an introductory computer for my nieces and nephews. I'd like it to include fun games as well as beginner-friendly tools and tutorials for learning programming, but their parents don't want the device connected to the internet.

Wi-Fi has been disabled, and I've already installed several offline-friendly programs, including Godot, Geany, Scratch 3, Sonic Pi, Thonny, and Notepad++, along with games such as Minecraft and chess. I'm looking for additional games, documentation, tutorials, or guided projects that can be downloaded and used entirely offline.

Something similar to a programming game like The Farmer Was Replaced would be ideal, although I'd prefer not to install Steam just for one title. What resources would you recommend loading onto the Pi before giving it to them?

The difficult part is that most programmers rely on a web browser for syntax references, examples, and function documentation. You may want to prepare or download offline documentation and beginner exercises ahead of time, since the usual online lookup workflow won’t be available.
