Hey everyone! I'm super excited to finally be able to buy my own PC, but I'm a bit lost when it comes to knowing if my configuration is solid. I want to make sure it's good for a mix of 3D work, editing, and gaming. Here's what I've got so far:
- Graphic Card: MSI GeForce RTX 5070 12G GAMING TRIO OC WHITE
- Processor: Intel Core i9-14900KF (3.2 GHz / 5.8 GHz)
- CPU Cooler: MSI MAG CORELIQUID I360 - White
- Motherboard: MSI Z790 GAMING PLUS WIFI
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 32 Go (2 x 16 Go) 6000 MHz CL36 1.4V - White
- SSD: Samsung SSD 990 EVO Plus M.2 PCIe NVMe 2 To
- Hard Disk: Toshiba P300 4 To (Bulk)
- Case: Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO XL (White)
- Power Supply: Corsair RM1000e (2025)
- Monitor: iiyama 27" LED - G-MASTER G2766HSU-B1 Red Eagle
Any advice on whether this setup is good, or if I should switch anything out? Thanks! (P.S. Sorry if my English isn't perfect – it's not my first language!)

You should really evaluate your cooling options too. The i9 can run hot depending on your workload, so solid cooling is a must. Just make sure to check how long the i9 can maintain performance without overheating.

Yep, definitely keep an eye on temps! I’ve heard good things about the Ryzen's cooling efficiency in comparison.

While your build looks pretty powerful, consider swapping out the Intel i9-14900KF for a Ryzen 9 7950X3D if gaming performance is your primary concern. It tends to outperform Intel in both gaming and heavy workloads. Just a thought!

That’s a solid suggestion! Plus, if you go with the Ryzen, you might want to look at getting an MSI PRO X670-P WiFi motherboard to get the most out of it.
