I changed the display name of the Konsole terminal through KDE's menu editor because I didn't like the name starting with a "K." Afterward, launching it from the Plasma application menu reports that the program can't be found. I tried changing the name back, but the same error still appears. How can I restore the launcher while keeping a custom display name?

The visible application name and the command that launches it are separate fields. Set the Name back to whatever you prefer, but make sure the Command or executable field is exactly `konsole`. If the command was renamed too, changing only the display name won’t fix the launcher.
If the menu entry is too damaged, installing another terminal is an alternative, but it shouldn’t be necessary. Restoring the launcher’s command to `konsole` should fix the existing entry without reinstalling the operating system.
Open the menu editor again and inspect the launcher entry rather than creating a new one. Restore the executable path or command to `konsole`, then save the changes. You can customize the label independently; the system still needs the original executable name to start the terminal.

I tried changing the name back, but I may have changed the command field as well. I’ll check that field and restore it to `konsole`.
