Best £2,000–£2,500 Gaming PC Build With an NVIDIA GPU

I'm expecting to have around £2,000–£2,500 available for a new gaming PC and would like to get the best system possible within that budget. I know the basics of PC components, but I'm not confident choosing compatible parts for a complete build. I generally prefer NVIDIA graphics cards because I'm familiar with them, and I'd also like a water-cooled setup in a full-tower case if those choices make sense. I could stretch the budget slightly for a worthwhile upgrade. What parts or complete build would you recommend?

An Intel Ultra 7 270K could also be used, but the best choice depends on whether this is mainly for gaming or also for demanding productivity work. For a gaming-first system, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D option is likely the stronger place to start.

For an NVIDIA-focused build, a strong option would be a Ryzen 7 9800X3D paired with an RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB of DDR5-6000 memory, a 2TB NVMe SSD, an 850W power supply, and a 360mm liquid cooler. That kind of configuration comes in at roughly £2,500, although a mid-tower with good airflow may be more practical than a full tower. If you’re willing to consider AMD graphics, a Radeon RX 9070 XT could save several hundred pounds while offering excellent performance. Stretching the budget by around £300 could also make an RTX 5080 possible.

Is there a particular reason you want NVIDIA? AMD cards can offer better performance for the money, so considering both options may let you build a faster PC within the same budget.

I’ve always used NVIDIA, so my preference is mainly based on familiarity rather than a specific technical requirement. I’m open to learning more about the current differences between NVIDIA and AMD.
