Is the Power Cable Fully Seated on My RTX 5070?

I'm installing an RTX 5070, but the power cable still appears to have a small gap and I can't seem to push it in any farther. Does this look properly connected, or does it need to be seated more completely? I'm worried about applying too much force and damaging the connector.

These connectors can be unusually difficult to seat, especially on newer cards. With the computer powered down and unplugged, try removing the card so the motherboard isn’t taking the force, then reconnect the cable while gently wiggling it into alignment. Make sure the plug’s latch is lined up and that the cable isn’t pulling sideways. The card may not power on if even a small gap remains.

No, it doesn’t look fully seated. The connector should be pushed in all the way with no visible gap. Turn the system completely off, remove the graphics card if necessary, and hold the card and connector securely while plugging it in so you aren’t stressing the motherboard. Don’t power on the system until it’s fully connected.

I’ve already pushed as hard as I’m comfortable with, but I’m worried about breaking something if I force it any more.
