Why are my case fans getting loud from simple tasks?

I've got a decent setup: a 6700 XT (Gigabyte Eagle with three fans), a 5600X paired with an Assassin X120 CPU cooler, 32 GB of RAM, and six Thermaltake case fans. Despite this, I'm noticing that my fans start spinning loudly even when I'm just doing light tasks, like opening a few Chrome tabs or watching a video on YouTube. I'm unsure if the issue lies with the CPU, GPU, case fans, or a combination of all three. I have a fan curve set up, but I'm curious if PWM is using it since it appears greyed out unless I switch to normal or custom. How can I troubleshoot this and optimize my fan curves?

From my own testing, the CPU fan hits around 1500 RPM and the GPU fan hits about 1200 RPM, while the case fans go up to 1000 RPM when opening multiple tabs. It’s definitely something to keep an eye on while multitasking.
