I'm planning to upgrade the graphics card in my PC, but I'm working with a limited budget. My current setup is a Ryzen 7 5700G, an ASUS Prime B550M-K ARGB motherboard, 16GB of Lexar Thor DDR4 memory, and a 500W SilverStone power supply. I'm considering either an RTX 5060 Ti or an RTX 5070. I've been told that the RTX 5070 would require a new power supply, which I can afford. Which graphics card would make more sense for this system, and should I consider upgrading the CPU as well?

If you can afford the RTX 5070 along with a suitable new PSU, it will give you noticeably better performance than the RTX 5060 Ti. However, your Ryzen 7 5700G may limit both cards in some games, especially at lower resolutions or high refresh rates.

It may be worth checking the price of a Ryzen 7 5700X or another compatible gaming-focused AM4 CPU. Pairing a CPU upgrade with the RTX 5060 Ti could provide a more balanced system than buying the RTX 5070 while keeping the 5700G.
