Should I stick with my 9800X3D or switch to the 7800X3D for 4K gaming?

I'm working on a new PC build and recently purchased a 240Hz 4K monitor and a 9800X3D. I initially held off on buying a GPU while waiting for the 5080 FE but ended up getting a 5070Ti at MSRP this week. Now, I'm questioning whether it's worth holding onto the 9800X3D or if I should sell it and grab a 7800X3D instead, which I can get for about $150 CAD ($105 USD) less than the 9800X3D's retail price.

I know that in 4K gaming, the performance gain might be minimal, but I'm interested in leveraging Nvidia's DLSS and Frame Generation for better frame rates. I keep hearing that the 1% lows are better with the 9800X3D, but does that still matter at 4K resolution? I could keep the 9800X3D for a solid future-proof option, but I don't necessarily need super high frame rates and don't get to game as much these days. What do you all think?

I'd just keep the 9800X3D you already have. It's a solid choice and you won't have to deal with selling it. The 1% lows are definitely better on the 9800, which is a big deal if you're playing fast-paced games.
