I'm struggling with really slow download speeds on my gaming PC, even though I pay for a 500 Mbps internet plan. My computer specs are as follows: Windows 11, i7 9th gen, EVGA 2080 FTW3, MSI MPG Z390, and a San Disk 1TB SSD (with about 80GB free). I recently tested my wife's gaming laptop, which has better specs, and she was able to get 200 Mbps on her wireless connection. However, I'm connected via Ethernet and can barely hit 30 Mbps at best, often dropping to kilobytes per second or even zero. I've already tried a lot of troubleshooting tips from YouTube but can't seem to fix it. Anyone have suggestions or want to see some screenshots or video of my setup?

Have you checked if you're using a VPN? Sometimes that can really bog down your speeds. If you aren't, you might want to run a Speedtest to see what speeds you're actually getting down and up.
I don't think I have a VPN. I haven't downloaded one in years.
