Since around August or September, my Windows 11 PC has been freezing roughly every 15 minutes, especially while playing Overwatch or Roblox. The mouse still moves, but the rest of the system becomes unresponsive for 10–20 seconds, and the active game or application sometimes crashes afterward. The issue may have started after installing NVIDIA driver 597.06 or 617.14. I already used DDU to remove and reinstall the graphics drivers, but the freezes continue. An error appears after each freeze, although I'm not sure how to interpret it. My system has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070, AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 32 GB of RAM, 1.8 TB of storage, and Windows 11. What should I check next?

What is the wattage and model of your power supply? A complete system freeze where the mouse still responds can happen when the graphics card briefly loses stable power under load. Make sure the PSU is suitable for the RTX 5070, that the GPU power connector is fully seated, and that you aren’t relying on a questionable adapter or loose cable.
The error shown after the freeze may point toward antivirus or security software interfering with the game or graphics driver. Check Windows Event Viewer and Reliability Monitor at the exact time of a freeze, then temporarily test with third-party antivirus disabled or removed if you have one installed. Avoid disabling Windows security permanently—this is only for troubleshooting.
