Why is my GPU memory temperature so much higher than the GPU temperature?

Hey everyone! I'm experiencing a bit of a puzzling issue with my GPU. When I play games, I've noticed that my GPU memory temperature is consistently about 30°C higher than the GPU temperature itself. For example, while playing The Last of Us 1, my GPU memory temperature hit 92°C, whereas the GPU temperature was only at 62°C. Is this something to be concerned about or is it normal behavior? I'm using a 9070XT with a 360 AIO cooler, three intake fans, and one exhaust fan.

Yeah, that's pretty typical for the 9070XT. With my setup, my CPU stays below 55°C, and while gaming, my GPU usually sits around 45-50°C, but the memory temperature often spikes up to 90-92°C under load. It’s just how these cards operate.

So I don’t need to worry about this at all, right?
