Hey everyone, I'm really stuck here! I just built a brand new PC and I've spent around five hours trying to figure out why my monitor isn't getting any signal. I've done a ton of research and even asked friends, but I'm left with no solutions. Here are my specs:
- Asus Prime B650 Plus Wifi Motherboard
- 32 GB DDR5 Lexus RAM (two 16 GB sticks)
- AMD 9600x CPU
- 4 TB M.2 WD_Black SSD
- Corsair 750e Modular PSU
- I don't have a GPU yet, so I'm trying to use the motherboard's ports for display.
I've already swapped the RAM, reseated the CPU, tested with both DisplayPort and HDMI cables, and made sure all my PSU connections are secure. I even updated the BIOS, but I'm still seeing no output. The power indicator is on, and all the fans are running, plus my peripherals like the keyboard and mouse are working fine. I'm going a bit crazy trying to find a fix. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

Have you checked if your motherboard has Q-LED indicators? They can be super helpful for troubleshooting issues like this. There might be a way to check if everything is functioning as it should.
You might want to wait until your GPU arrives since you'll need to connect the display to it for signal. In cases like this, the integrated graphics from the CPU usually take over, but if your CPU doesn’t have that capability, you’ll be stuck. Just hang in there until your GPU gets here and see if that solves the issue!
Doesn’t the CPU have integrated graphics? You might still want to check that!
I don’t think my motherboard has any LEDs on it, though. What should I do then?
