Hey everyone! I'm diving into building my first gaming PC and could really use some tips or advice. I'm aiming for a setup that can handle a range of games, from CS2 and Forza to Skyrim and Cyberpunk 2077. I've put together a potential build, which totals around 1500€ (I can stretch a bit more if necessary), and I'm also on the lookout for a decent monitor that won't break the bank. Here's what I have so far:
- AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
- MSI B650 Gaming Plus Wifi Motherboard
- Radeon RX 7800 XTX Graphics Card
- Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM
- WD Blue SN580 2TB SSD
- Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 Cooler
- Corsair RM850X Power Supply
- Bequiet Pure Base 500DX Case
If anyone has insights or suggestions about my build or monitor options, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks a ton!

Hey, great choice of parts! Just to add, if you're concerned about the budget, keep an eye on prices; sometimes components fluctuate a lot. Since you're in France, make sure you’re checking local sites for deals too. For the monitor, consider something with a good refresh rate (144Hz is nice) and look for IPS panels for better colors. It's totally possible to find a good monitor without spending as much as the PC itself. Have fun building!
Yes! And don't forget to factor in warranty and support when choosing your components.
Looks like you've got a solid setup! Just a heads up, make sure to check for the noise level of the power supply, especially if you care about having a quiet PC. The case you've chosen should also have decent airflow. If you're interested in upgrading, consider going for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D for better performance, especially in CPU-bound games. Here’s a quick list of my recommendations based on what you’ve got:
- Check out the MSI Ventus 2X PLUS OC for graphics, it'll give you ray tracing for Cyberpunk 2077.
- You might want to look at the Samsung 990 Pro SSD; it's super fast!
Just keep everything in mind regarding compatibility and airflow; make sure your case has enough fans to keep things cool! Good luck with your build!
Totally agree! The Ryzen 7 would be a beast for multitasking and gaming. And yes, check that motherboard for USB ports and fan headers.
Nice suggestions! Also, don't forget to adjust the cooling if you go for more powerful components!
Exactly! IPS gives nice visuals! And definitely compare prices regularly. You can find good deals during sales.
