Help Me Build a Solid PC for My Dad

I'm looking to build my dad a new PC since his laptop just died and he recently got a $2,000 check for a job he did. He wants the ability to play World of Warcraft with my mom and work on house design software. I'm specifically looking for recommendations on a graphics card since I've seen that the prices for the 7800 XT and the 4070 are quite high. I'm unsure what card would be worth it or if there's a better option out there. I've picked out a case already, but I'm open to suggestions for that and any other parts we might need. Also, he needs two monitors, so I don't want to max out the PC build at exactly $2,000, probably around $100 per monitor. Any help in updating my parts list would be greatly appreciated!

Check out my suggested build here: [Build Link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KDr2fd). For your budget of $2,000, you could focus on dual monitors that are more in the $200 range instead of $100 ones. For the CPU, I recommend the 7800X3D, or save some cash and go for the 9600X, which performs nearly as well at a much lower price. Going for solid components: like a reliable cooler and a good motherboard can save you some bucks without sacrificing performance. Don't skimp on the PSU either; I'd recommend the beQuiet! Pure Power 12M. It's worth the investment!

Thanks for breaking down the build details! This advice is super helpful; I appreciate all the effort you put into explaining it.

I've got a similar setup with a 7800 XT and it's been great for gaming at high settings, but I can’t speak for World of Warcraft specifically. Just sharing my experience that it handles most games quite well at 1440p!
