Why won’t my computer load games?

I just built my computer over the past couple of days, and I'm having trouble getting games to load. I think I messed up while downloading drivers since I accidentally downloaded Intel drivers instead. My main test game, Marvel Rivals, isn't working—it just gives me a black screen when I try to load it. Here are my specs: Motherboard: B650 Gaming X AX V2; CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700x; GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7600; SSD: 2TB P41 Hynix; RAM: 32GB (2x16GB sticks) 36 Cl Gskill X; CPU Fan: Peerless Assassin 120 SE. I'm pretty sure it's just Marvel Rivals that's acting up. Any advice?

It sounds like you need to remove those Intel drivers. You definitely need the AMD drivers for your GPU. Uninstall the Intel ones first, then get the correct AMD drivers installed.

How do I go about uninstalling the Intel drivers? I can find the AMD ones easily.

Might not be the main issue, but just to confirm, make sure that your HDMI or DisplayPort is firmly connected to the GPU. If you’ve plugged it into the motherboard instead, switch it over to the graphics card!

Can you clarify what you mean by 'unable to load games'? Are you getting any error messages or does it just not start? Also, I’d recommend checking the Task Manager to see if the game process kicks off at all.

With Marvel Rivals, I just get a black screen and nothing loads after that.

League of Legends loads fine though, no problems there.

It's possible there's a setting in the BIOS causing the GPU to be recognized as secondary. Checking that could help solve your issue.
