Why Aren’t My PC Fans Spinning Even Though They’re Powered?

I'm at my girlfriend's place, and I noticed her PC fans aren't spinning at all. She mentioned they haven't worked since she got the computer. I checked inside and saw that all the fans are connected properly to a fan controller at the back, which is linked to the motherboard, and they light up just fine. However, she doesn't have a remote for the controller anymore. I'm not sure what steps I could take to get these fans to start spinning. Here's a link to the exact controller she has: [fan controller image link].

First, you should check the BIOS/UEFI settings to see if there are any fan profiles set up. There should be options related to fan speeds based on CPU or system temperatures. If things seem off, reset them to default and see if that helps. If the CPU fan is the only one recognized directly by the motherboard, the others may require some setup in the BIOS to kick in.

I looked in the BIOS, and I found the CPU fan profile, but the other fans seem to be stuck on default and still aren’t spinning. I even tried setting them to PWM mode, but no luck.

You might also need specific software to control the fan speeds properly. Many fan controllers require additional software to fine-tune their settings. Do you know the name of the fan controller? That could help pinpoint the right software you need.

I have no clue what software to use since this isn’t my PC. Any suggestions on where I could find it?
